Who Am I

I am a good person.
I know right from wrong and was taught to be accountable for my actions. Taking on responsibility is in my nature. Giving 100% is not an option - it's what I do.
I am a caring person.
I know caring means more than washing that place you can't reach. Being non-judgmental and working in humble obedience to others wishes are also parts of caring. Total confidentiality is a given, as well as putting yourself in another's shoes.
I am a believer.
I know God's precious children are my neighbors. Joy, peace and abundance are God's wish for all. Caring for others in need allows you to give & receive this, plus more.
I am a compassionate person.
I know everybody needs help sometime. Ensuring a loved ones safety or being there when others can't is a form of caring. Assisting with personal hygiene, serving meals and helping to dress are all forms of caring. Helping someone re-learn to do for oneself again in rehab, accompanying on errands, and just being good company - all forms of caring.
I am privileged to serve others.
I know they are helped, as well as those who care about them. Whether you call it good karma, earning brownie points or following the great commandment to serve others as we were shown - it's all about caring.
Who am I? I am a caregiver.
